​The School of Making Thinking in partnership with Abrons Arts Center offers spring and fall classes designed to bring rigorous thinking and making into conversation with experimental pedagogy. This programmatic collaboration forges an expanding community among artists, researchers, and activists throughout New York City and beyond.

Our Fall 2024 Classes have concluded. Classes took place at Abrons Art Center and ran as 3-hour sessions weekly for four weeks in October-November 2024. The classes remain listed below for reference.

SMT'S archive of courses provides an in-depth look at embodied, experiential pedagogies combining interdisciplinary techniques from: film, visual arts, philosophy, poetry, mathematics, dance, theater, literature, and art history.
